Open Freely: A universal file opener for Windows which opens over 100 files

Open Freely is a freeware application that allows you to open any kind of document, media or compressed file format. Once installed, there is no need of a media player, compressed archive manager or a PDF viewer.

The program supports multiple complimentary options such as image cropping, resizing, rotating, copying, printing, saving, etc. All these options are displayed automatically on the screen once a file is opened using Open Freely. The 25.9 MB size program also lets you save file types in multiple file formats.


Features in a nutshell:
  • Opens PDF documents
  • Opens and edits Microsoft office documents ( Word, Excel and PowerPoint files)
  • Plays audio and video files (WMV, AVI, FLV, MPG, MPEG, MOV, MP4, MP3, etc.)
  • Opens Windows System files such as EXE, DLL, BPL, SCR, CPL, OPX, etc.
Any document can be opened either by associating the file type with Open Freely or by using the Open With dialog. Also, a document file type such as  TXT, Doc, CSV, XLSX, etc becomes editable the moment it is opened with Open Freely thereby eliminating the need to install system intensive and paid office suites such as MS Office.
